At Burwood City Football Club, age is just a number! Our Over 55 program proudly fields three teams—Red Team, White Team, and Green Team—competing in Melbourne’s Over 55 Soccer League. These “old boys” bring a competitive spirit and unmatched passion to the pitch, proving that football has no age limit.
Far from slowing down, our Over 55 players demonstrate incredible determination, skill, and teamwork. Whether it’s in league matches or cup competitions, these seasoned veterans play with the same drive and energy as they did in their youth, always striving for excellence.
The teams are made up of individuals from various backgrounds, including retired professionals, experienced coaches, and lifelong football enthusiasts. What binds them together is their love for the game and their refusal to back down from any challenge.
